Career Fathom: An AI agent for career reflection and discovery

Project Overview
Many young professionals struggle to align their work with their talents or values.
Career transitions are emotionally complex, life-changing, and often driven by uncertainty rather than clarity. Through two weeks of primary research—including in-depth interviews and journey mapping—and five weeks of design development, this project explores how AI can support young professionals in career change decision-making without removing human agency.

Project outcome
Created a human AI collaboration framework and an AI agent for career reflection exploration.
The project proposes a two-part AI system: a Reflection tool that surfaces insights about users’ values and strengths, and a Discovery tool that simulates potential career paths and generates personalized experiment plans. By supporting both sense-making and action, the system reframes career change as an iterative, human-centered journey rather than a one-time decision.

This project showcases my ability to design an efficient research plan that balances time constraints with insight quality. It also explores AI, a domain I'm passionate about pursuing.
